Zip n Squeeze bags work exactly as the name implies: you fill the bag with liquid or pureed food, zip the top of the bag securely, then merely squeeze the bag to get the flow of food or liquid into your mouth.
These bags have become the gold standard for oral surgery patients over the years. For a time they were unavailable, but now they are in production again.
They come in two types: The Z-100 bags are for thin liquids (such as water or broth). The Z-200 are for thicker pureed foods or smoothies. Each package comes with 5 bags, plus full instructions.
DentaKit.com also carries the book "Dinner Through A Straw," which contains helpful pre-and-post surgery tips, and a lot of great liquid diet recipes.
